What is Dynamic Line Rating?
Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) is a real-time grid optimization technology that adjusts the thermal capacity of transmission lines based on actual environmental conditions—such as wind speed, temperature, and solar radiation. Unlike static ratings, which rely on conservative assumptions, DLR enables utilities to safely push more power through existing infrastructure.

Sensor-based and software-only DLR solutions

Sensor-based DLR
Our sensor-based systems use real-time measurements of conductor sag, tension, and vibration to calculate accurate line ratings. These systems are ideal for critical spans and high-voltage corridors where precision and safety are paramount.
