Ampacimon at IEEE PES Grid Edge Technologies Conference & Exposition 2025

We are pleased to announce that Ampacimon will be participating in the IEEE PES Grid Edge Technologies Conference & Exposition, taking place from January 21-23, 2025, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. This event brings together leading organizations to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and interoperability of the grid.

The conference will feature a comprehensive technical program with panel sessions, keynote sessions, tutorials, and more. Key topics include connected utilities and infrastructure, fleet electrification, energy storage, virtual power plants, policy and regulatory frameworks, smart cities and IoT, microgrids, distributed energy resources, electric vehicles, cybersecurity, and data privacy.

Ampacimon is excited to showcase our two innovative technologies, Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) and Condition Monitoring. DLR allows power utilities to increase the power capacity of power lines by up to 40% by considering real-time ambient weather conditions such as wind and ambient temperature. This technology helps optimize grid performance and supports the integration of renewable energy sources. Condition Monitoring is your ultimate safeguard for substations, cables, and electric lines. It prevents outages, enhances safety, and tackles the challenges of aging infrastructure. By monitoring partial discharge, predicting faults through remote monitoring, estimating line useful-life from vibration and tension data, and implementing continuous online cable monitoring, we ensure a resilient and future-proof grid.

With the FERC 881 compliance deadline approaching in six months, this event represents a crucial opportunity for operators to prepare and ensure they meet the regulatory requirements. Ampacimon is here to provide the necessary insights and support with our Accelerator Program, designed to help operators achieve FERC 881 compliance within the six-month timeframe.

Our team will also address the key trends for global infrastructure improvements in 2025. This includes the rapid adoption of Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) and the integration of renewable energy sources to meet decarbonization targets. These developments are crucial for advancing the energy transition and achieving a sustainable future.

Join us at booth #1237 to learn more about our cutting-edge technologies and how we are driving the energy transition forward.
